ABOUT US

ROBERT JAMES JACKSON

Robert Jackson was raised in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island and started his working career as a motorcycle mechanic in 1976. In the 1980s, a machining hobby laid the foundation for the succeeding 8 years as an accomplished gunsmith. He added marine mechanics to his repertoire in 1990 and, in 1994, he applied his mechanical, machining, and welding skills to Fan Seafoods Ltd., becoming their Fabrication Engineer and Shop Foreman. During this time, Jackson developed and implemented innovative technology to the burgeoning Aquaculture Industry.

In 2000, recognizing Mr. Jackson's fabrication and welding skills, a local sportsman contracted with him to build an aluminium boat. What started off as a one-time project soon turned into a career; the products of which are displayed here and in such publications as "Western Mariner" magazine.

JAXONCRAFT MARINE LTD.

The focus of manufacture at Jaxoncraft Marine Ltd. is Welded Aluminum Offshore Sport Fishing Boats. They typically range in size from 21 to 30 ft. and can be had as Hard Top models, Runabouts, or Centre Consoles. They can be fitted out from a long list of options ranging from Computers to Ice Chests.

Our well proven hull design has shown a distinct performance advantage over others. The inherent differences are a noticeably deeper "V", less longitudinal dead rise variation, and a longer shearing fore foot area. These attributes ensure a softer ride, excellent "following sea" dynamics, and can be found on the best examples of Offshore Boats around the world.

Over the years, we have built many different styles of boats, but our JXC Offshore models remain our most popular. The cornerstone of our business success here on the Coast is founded upon the "real life" performance of our boats, their outstanding quality, and constant feedback from their owners.

We offer our testimonials page and the many customer supplied photos on our site as proof of an exceptionally worthy vessel and a sound recreational investment.
